  • I had always loved pregnancy and birth from as far back as my memory takes me. After my own experience, I was changed forever. Completely transformed, both by the unavoidable changes I went through in becoming a mother (matrescence), but also in how my birth experience deeply impacted mine and my baby’s entire future. As I processed my experience (not a good one by any means), I began to learn about just how profound birth is for every mum and her family - for the better or for the worse. I began to discover just how powerful having excellent support, non-judgmental care and empowerment is. I couldn’t just carry on the rest of my life as if none of it mattered that much. To me, how we give birth is everything. How we feel when we give birth and in those first weeks and months are crucial. I’ve since sacrificed a lot and invested in myself to become the best doula and educator for you so that you can flourish and love your experience, but most importantly, transform into a mother who knows herself power, her voice, her intuition and her baby.

  • As a doula, I have been trained and supported families both professionally and informally for nearly three years. I have over a decade of experience in holistic support roles, coaching, mentoring and nanny support that is invaluable as my work as a doula. I combine experience and training over a variety of roles to shape me into the doula I am.

  • I trained with Nurturing Birth in 2022 and Antenatal Training International immediately after obtaining a diploma in Antenatal Education and Breastfeeding Peer Support in 2023. I am registered with Doula UK and invest in mentoring to get the support I need to support you best.

  • I am happy to discuss mutually agreed plans for payment. If you’d love for a doula but do not have any budget fo one due to low income, you can request friends and family to purchase doula UK vouchers or you may be eligible for referral to Doula UK’s access fund for free support from a professional (e.g. social worker)

  • Yes! I believe in supporting all families from all walks of life, beliefs and expressions of identity so all families can thrive. • Aiming for Autumn 2025 for private 1:1 and Winter-Spring 2026 for digital.

  • I am always client-led. Some mums want to zone off in their own world and need minimal support as they birth intuitively. Others prefer a more hands-on level of support, physically supporting, using techniques like light-touch massage and counterpressure, and biomechanical position support, as well as verbal encouragement, advocacy support, nourishment and birth partner support. Whatever you need, you lead and I move with you.

  • I believe medical care is lifesaving and interventions are sometimes necessary. I love midwives and am grateful for the care and interventions midwives and doctors can provide when needed. I also believe that the current medical system is struggling and often failing to provide safe and dignifying care to many women, often contributing to trauma and unnecessary injury/intervention as we can take from research regarding mental health, morbidity and mortality rates. I make it my aim to ensure communication and relationship between you, your medical team (and myself) is respectful, excellent and collaborative to form a brilliant team. I’m all for any type of birth, so long as everyone there is working in your best interest and providing the information and care you need, are legally entitled to and deserve to make informed choices, then that’s a win!

If you are aiming to birth outside of the medical maternity system, I wholeheartedly support this.

  • My role is to support the mother - part of supporting the mother is to support and empower birth partners to best support mum. I work for YOU but that means also supporting your partner to support you well too.
